MOCK MEDIATION A HUGE SUCCESS
Amanda O’Dea, Co-Chair of the Montgomery County Medical Legal Committee, organized and led a mock mediation seminar at Abington Memorial Hospital on January 23, 2007. The presentation was a combined effort of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society to demonstrate the effectiveness of mediation at various stages of litigation. John F. O’Brien, III, fulfilled the role as mediator and Marshall L. Schwartz, Michael O. Pitt, and Carolyn M. Dillon played various roles in the mediation.
Thanks to the efforts of Amanda O'Dea and the other O'Brien & Ryan participants, the mock mediation was a huge success.

Dorothy Duffy was a member of the defense team for the Masters In Trial program, sponsored by the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates. The program provided a demonstration of a civil jury trial from opening statements through jury deliberations. As a member of the defense team for this program, Dorothy demonstrated the art of examining and cross examining a witness.
