Jeffrey P. Brien

Jeffrey P. Brien grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from the Boston College College of Arts & Sciences Honors Program with a degree in Psychology. Mr. Brien then attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he served as a Senior Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law. Mr. Brien also represented indigent individuals as a Certified Legal Intern in Penn Law’s Civil Practice Clinic and completed externships with the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania and the United States House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary while in law school.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Brien served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Lisa. M. Rau of the Complex Litigation Center of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Civil Trial Division. He assisted Judge Rau on a wide variety of matters including mass tort, medical malpractice, and housing cases. Mr. Brien focuses his practice on medical malpractice and nursing home and long-term care litigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
